RHYTHM CONGRESS was born in a studio on South CONGRESS Avenue in Austin, Texas (the live music capital).  Featuring a solid RHYTHM section and an extra large energetic CONGRESS of horns, RC is committed to keeping old school soul music and classic rhythm & blues alive and thrivin' in Central Texas.

Rhythm Congress will be bringing the sound of horn-driven rhythm and blues back to the Biergarten at the Famous Walburg German Restaurant on Saturday night, July 17.  Come on out for some HOT tunes in the COOL Central Texas July evening air.  :-)  OK -- maybe not so COOL, but the beer will be ICE COLD, as always, and we promise a great time for all.  Go to our "Media" pages (click the tab above) for some photos and video of our last gig "under the Walburg tent".
